Wrasse Records was launched 9 years ago by Jo and Ian Ashbridge. In that time, the label has released over 200 albums, releasing the pinnacle of artists from each genre. Initially specialising in World Music, the label has also recently expanded into the soundtrack and Country Music market. Artists include Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Angelique Kidjo, Salif Keita and Fela Kuti. The only criteria for a release is that the label believes in the music.

Ojo Música
Parallel to the development of the brand Galileo, the company created in 2009 the label "Ojo Música" for publications that did not necessarily belong to the realm of World Music. In 2010, the company was split in the two offices from which it had worked so far, Munich (Germany) and Madrid (Spain). The Galileo label became exclusive property of the German company, and Ojo Música was the new brand for the Spanish office. The ongoing collaboration between the German and the Spanish offices is shown through mutual representation of both labels in the market as eachother's partners: Galileo represents Ojo Música in Germany and Ojo Música distributes Galileo in Spain.
