Wrasse Records was launched 9 years ago by Jo and Ian Ashbridge. In that time, the label has released over 200 albums, releasing the pinnacle of artists from each genre. Initially specialising in World Music, the label has also recently expanded into the soundtrack and Country Music market. Artists include Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Angelique Kidjo, Salif Keita, Fela Kuti, George Strait and Reba McEntire. The only criteria for a release is that the label believes in the music.
